Yep, #7024 (Green '74) came from Gullwing Motors this time last year and personally I can't fault them. I understand they are a volume focused, get 'em in & turn 'em around type place, with little or no work done to move them. This to my mind is advantageous as they don't try to dress mutton up to be lamb if you know what I mean.

They never over represented my car and were up front with any obvious issues, although they didn't have any prior history to go on, so they probably didn't know that much, like it turned out to have a 400HP motor in it. Smiler. I got a great deal considering I bought it sight unseen from no more than a few photos. Having said that I got it a price well below their original asking price, at a level where I was prepared to take that chance.

They took care of all the shipping through VIP Transport, whom I was equally impressed with.

The blue '72 appears nice in the photos, I suggest you make contact and shoot them an e-mail or call for additional photos and information; they were very obliging and put the car up on ramps to take underside shots etc. when I was considering my purchase last year. If you decide you don't want the car then share the info on the board, I'm sure someone will be glad of it and I bet Gullwing won't gripe about some free advertising!

I passed by today the car wasnt outside I didnt have a chance to go in though. Like I said the body looked good the interior looked good. I'm going to try to actually take a good scrutinizing look at the car over the next few days as work permits/ affords me the time. An acquaintence of mine bought a 65 GTO from them and was pretty satisfied. As Joules said they are something of a volume seller but that might be a good thing, afterall its just merchandise taking up shelf space to them.
Here is the response I got from Gullwing regarding this car:

Hello,

Thank you for the email. Car runs and drive excellent. No books or records came with the car. It has some rust repaired under the trunk area. Floors are good. No books or records came with car. All stock no modification. Interior is original, just showing age. How much you are asking for you cars?

Thank You

Frank

Not exactly a plethora of information. I guess I'll await the inspection report from DeLoreans and DeTomasos.

Don't you love used car salesmen!?

OK I saw the car, it was a little late when I got there and it was starting to get alittle dark. The car once again was outside. The quarter panels were in good shape, no evidence of rust around the rear of the car from water pooling up. The body was in great shape I didnt notice any dings. The interior looked really sharp, although the passenger window was down when I got there. There were afew trim?? screws laying on the carpet maybe from them trying to repair the window??? Again I dont know if anything was wrong with it you'll have to ask. The tires need replacing and there was some degree of curb rash on the rims although really minor. I really liked the interior on this car I thought it looked great. I didnt talk to anyone and I didnt open the engine compartment., but I took afew pictures all I have to do is pick up a USB adapter for the pics to be downloaded from the phone. The car looked like it was well loved and it showed well, I actually liked that cartoon blue color. I couldnt tell if it was resprayed but I really dont think it was. I'd consider this car myself if I wasnt so intent on a wide body or maybe even a Mangusta. Also the floor mats were a bit shabby....I'll get the pics up real soon!!
