I was told by an engine builder that it not s good Idea to Replace your Valve seats with Harden Valves seats, Because, The Area Behind the valve seat is Too Thin and can cause Cracks. So the old Heads are all junk! Sucks. I`m Learning Cleavelands are more Trouble than they are Worth. so, I should sell my Cleavelen stuff Open and Closed chamber Heads with Guide Plates and all. Then Buy a 351W which is alot cheaper and easier and Lighter. 351w is a Big Plus over any Cleveland. And can get more HP Cheaper. Also don`t have to worry about which Water pump with which Thermostat. Also More room. Also, My Air never did work since I`v own this car, a 1972 in Mint shape. Why have Air anyway. When I`m hot. I just open the Pass. window 3" and the wind hits the back window and blow dries you. If I don`t put the air back in, where to get a Shorter Belt? Fustrated.
