I just got off the phone with Daryle about the center caps issue.

Here's the deal guys.

First off, Daryle is not in the Center Cap Business, he's in the wheel business and this happens to be the busiest time of the year for him in the wheel business.

His cost for making these caps is $41.00 each for which everyone is paying $40.00 each. So right off the bat, it's costing him to make these caps for those that want them.

He doesn't mind doing this as a favor to me or you guys, but it is not a pirority in his WHEEL business. He did say that if all goes well, he could have them done in the next few weeks. He's also going to look into having the machine shop next door to him finish them for him which will get them done sooner.

If this is not to anyone's liking, then I would suggest you find another machine shop yourself and have them made.

Daryle did me and all of you a favor by selling the wheels at the 25% off and it bugs the sh*t out of me that some of you are going to bang on Daryle when he's done nothing but reach out to everyone and try to help.

Daryle is a friend of mine and I take it personal when you attack him since you are also attacking me for bringing him to the table with the e-mails he's getting and some of the past comments on the board.

Sorry if I am being a jert about this, but enough is enough, you don't want to wait, take your business elsewhere.
I don't see anyone "banging" on Daryl. On the contrary, I see people being infinitely patient with him.
There were more problems with the first Kodiak group buy than on this one. Everyone was patient to the tenth degree on that one too.
Coz, you're taking it personal because you've gone out of your way to set these deals up. You have nothing to defend...we're all grateful to you...but Daryl has not followed through as promised in many ways.
"Business" is the key word here. While Daryl is your friend, we are his customers. If he doesn't come through as promised, we have the right to ask why, and when things will be rectified. It is only reasonable. It is only business.
I'm in business too. I do what I say...when I say...and I expect that simple service from others.

I thought that I would wade in here before things get out of hand. Yes it has been awhile for the caps. I'm sorry for that. I should not have taken on the job in the first place and that is my fault. I have spoken with a suppier of ours that does alot of turning work and I will have them do the job so that it gets done. The parts without the ingraving will be done and ready for delivery May16 and the other ones will be ready May 19. If that works for you please email or fax your confirmation to the office. As to any other issues with our product, if you are not 100% satisfied with your order or dealings with Kodiak Motorsports please call the office and we will give you a call tag and you can return the product for a full refund. Thanks Daryle, you're a lot more tacful than I am or would continue to be.

Just get tired of the "It's not what you've done for me that counts, but what you've done for me lately" additude that some, not all, project.

Instead of being thankful they got a first class wheels at a major discount, some only want to complain.
