Also, is the Pressure plate "long style" or "short"?

Installed this clutch recently in my -74, works like a charm. Hayes part # 37-220 for the pressure plate, 40-108 for the disc and if you need a new throwout bearing it's a Federal Mogul 1625-T. It has to be press fitted on to your old hub and that you can only get from the Pantera vendors (the hub that is).
By the way, the pressure plate has three arms, I think that's long style.

Hi Zantin351,

Were you able to use your stock flywheel? I have read that you cannot get an orig 11" so you have to go with 10 1/2" and buy a new flywheel or have your orig drilled with a smaller pattern. What did you do?

I forgot to also ask if there is a way to look through the inspection hole and tell if your clutch is 11" or 10.5" before you take it out? I assume there must be a distance from the edge of the flywheel to the pressure plate that is greater for a 10.5".

I have replaced my clutch with the Hays unit from Jeg's (11" long style) without any issues and have had great performances as well. It is when someone wants to use the centerforce clutches that the 101/2" flywheel vs 11" question keeps coming up.

johrt has it right. The benefit of the Hayes is that it fits your original fly wheel without any modifications. Although I had to have mine resurfaced (quite worn) but any good machine shop can do this at no significant expense.
