Head Bolts

When installing head bolts into 4v heads are
there any that enter into any of the water
jackets ? Ifso which ones are they and should
they be coated with sealer? Thanks,TJ.

None of the headbolts enter the water jacket in a 351C. However, several of the longer bolts holding the water pump on do so, and need some type of non-hardening sealer. I use good ol' Permatex #2. Horribly sloppy to use but it worked in the '40s and still does today.
