When you look at the vent's overall area in square inches or whatever, there is little chance they will serve to exit much of the air that enters the radiator. Just take some measurements and do the math. If your reason to add them is to improve cooling, it will be slight, at best.

Improve downforce by venting air up rather than forcing it down under the chassis? Not much change there, IMHO.

Improve looks? Personal choice.

Forever butchering a solid stock hood for only questionable benefits has never made much sense to me.

We all do what we do for different reasons, but you did ask.
