Just about an hour from me thay SCCA used to hold the Chimney Rock hillclimb in NC. There were many classes and I attened 7 years in a row. Our local boy John Finger would always win in his class. He owned the Mazda dealership, and drove a rotary powered mini Indy type car. His crew would heat his tires with a blowtorch before the start. I always had a blast. You could always tell when the v8s were coming.

I am headed down to the local audi dealer right now to buy me one of them r8s. That is just what I need for the hills around here. How much are they by the way? I ain't never seen one at the dealership before. Is they new model just this year????????
Update: I went to the audi dealer and he said they don't make an r8, they make an a8. Someone musta labeled that movie wrong cause an a8 looks like a big hevey POS car. Didn't look nothing like what was in the movie. I bet that was someone go kart and not a car at all.

It doesn't look like the driver position in the video is consistent with this car though.

I think Audi is working on a concept car that they are going to market as the R8, but it kind of looks like a European Nissan Z.

Ooooo, I like the way that looks just fine. How much do they sell for?? How come my local dealer never heard of these? I would pay more for this car than I would a corvette. I would think they would sell a whole bunch of these things. Almost seven hundred horses?? I mean it sound great. What does it look like with the top up? What kinda milage does it get??
