How many memeber track their car?

I do at the Vegas event

I try & track my car at least 1-2 times a year in drivers' schools put on by the Porsche & Audi Clubs out of Kansas City at our local track- Heartland Park Topeka (HPT.com). Several years ago I trekked down to College Station, TX. & ran a two day event with 20 other Panteras, mostly out of the Texas Clubs. Have to admit that I'm usually a little concerned about the abuse I may be subjecting my car to, but it's just too much fun not to get on a track where you can really put the pedal to the metal & not worry about flashing lights behind you

Short answer, not enough.

I had 2511 on the Vegas event track (2003) 5 months after purchase. Have repeated that event in 2005 and 2006. 2004 my car was not exactly in one piece following my off road adventure.

The ultimate - I may be biased here - place to track your Pantera is at the PCNC track event held during each Las Vegas Fun Rally.

Small number of cars, cheapest track time around, instructors available - and fun for all.

And this year, we have a special rate for first time drivers bringing their Panteras:

one day for $100 -- both days for $150

Heck, you'll spend more than that taking the Mrs. out for a dinner and show.

You only need to thrash your car as much as you feel safe in doing, and newbies in Group C won't have to justify their cautious laps to anyone.

I have every year that I've owned it atleast two times each year.Now I have a GT40 for the track and the Pantera for the street.

9138 only once last year at POCONO.

I Have run both Pantera's that I have had on the track. The car that I have now has a nice paint job so I am more careful because I do not want all the road rash that comes with tracking a car. Also I have two RX-7's that I race,(one is a SPEC-7, and the other in PRO-7) so I can be really rough on those cars and not worry about tearing them up.
