How tall are you?

I'm 6'-2" and fit! You will fit with the right seat (like a stock one). Beware if you have a thick padded after market seat you will not fit.
Leave your hat at home because the headliner is very close 1/2 to 1" away from your head

I'm 6 foot two, 190 pounds. Actually I was six foot two, I'm probably a bit shorter now, because you shrink as you get older.

Anyway, I'm long legged (short in the torso). My hair rubs the headliner; not my head, just the hair. I have the rear spacers removed from between the seat track and the floor.

I drive my car long distances, the stock seats SUCK. I bought a pair of Momo Speed 2 seats. Now I have to drop the floor pans. But the expense will be worth it, to be able to drive the Pantera long distances in comfort.

Owning the Pantera wasn't optional. I'm quite passionate about that. Thankfully there's a common way to adapt it to the new seats and my size.

Three Pantera owners come to mind, Matt Merrit, Mark McWhinney and Roger Sharp. These guys tower over me. Each one is 6'4" to 6'6". They drive Panteras.

I used to be 6'4", now a tall 6'3" and weigh around 250 pounds. My wife told me we could not buy thePantera if I could not fit in it. I have owned it almost ten years now. Yeah my hair touches the head liner and if I hit a bump real fast I occasionly bump my head. I have all driver side spacers removed, but I would remove body parts just to drive my Pantera. Not the cars, mine.

what's it like to still have hair? mine turned grey...now it's turning loose!

nah, we store it up for the rainy days.

I'm 6'1"/180 and like George, have long legs. I haven't done anything special to the seat and fit in fine. My hair just touches the headliner.

I do have a small diameter steering wheel. I think my knees would be real close to the stock wheel.

For once in my life being short in height is a blessinig!

Same here. Being vertically challenged is good with a Pantera.

I'm 6'2" 200 lbs. I was going to drop my floor pans, but decided to play with seats instead. I bought the C4 Corvette seats from Gary Herrig. Bolted to the floor, my hair touches the headliner (definitely no room for a helmet). I replaced the driver's seat only with a Sparco Sprint. Now I can get a helmet on!

5'4" with 4" dropped floor pans. I can barely see over the steering wheel :-)

But I'm tall enough that when I'm nose to nose, my toes are in it and when I'm toes to toes, my nose is in it.

The NYS Police hassle me all the time about driving with the helmet on. I don't know what I'm going to do about it?

I am a very average 5'-9" but have a 4-pt roll bar and with helmet on, I'm close to head liner. I have dropped floor pans with Padded seats (w/out the dropped floor pans, I could not wear a helmet).

I saw that you said that your wife was telling you that you would be better off with the MBZ SL 500. That is the car I bought my wife, and I have a harder time getting into that car than the Pantera. I almost always hit my head when entering the car. Once I am in the car I fit fine, but getting in is harder.

For some reason she thinks the MBZ is a better car.

I had a real difficult time with a 2002 but the 2003 and up are real easy to get in and out of.

I know that we shrink as we get older but that has nothing to do with ones height?

Also everyone is commenting about driving with thier racing helmets, whether they fit or not.
What about cowboy hats?

With my roll bar, even the bill of my ball cap hits. There is no way to fit my cowboy hat!
