No, I have been using the "its business" line for years buying new trucks, computers, and tools. You see she keeps score of my money spending so if its business she can't count that purchase. It only works in a good marriage
Wife and I have a different method of dividing vehicles - if it has a clutch, it's mine, if it has an automatic, it's hers.
A couple of years ago, she bought a 30 ft. fifth wheel RV. Since our F-150 was not big enough to tow the fifth wheel, she traded it for a crew cab F-250 PowerStroke diesel. Now I get the use of her tow motor for my car hauler and it's not in my racing budget!

I tell my wife..It is an investment that will hold the value... If I buy her the Mercedes SUV it will only depriciate.. so no way. Really I am just fortunate to have a wife that lets me have somthing i enjoy. I'm afraid if she had the SUV.. she might drive away!!
