I assume you need to know the location of the hole, to be able to press in on the lock barrel retention spring.
This is pretty easy to reverse engineer IF you have the replacement lock barrel in hand. But if not, here is what I have learned.
It is 5/8" from the edge of the CASTING, not the chrome bezel.
And 3/16" - 1/4" down from the center casting line of the housing.
About 1/8"drill diameter should be enough. You will be drilling down into the black spring steel retention spring. I've had some that came out pretty easy, others....
If you remove the electrical switch portion, the end of the shaft can be used as a push point to encourage the lock barrel to some out.
Once the barrel comes out, you will find that the shaft is attached to the end of the lock barrel with a friction spring-ball mechanism. Just pull and it will separate from the barrel.
Check first. I found one unit, not from a Pantera, that actually had a retention pin driven through a hole in the housing to a recess in the lock barrel. That one required careful grinding of the housing to reveal enough of the pin to get a pair of needle nose locking pliers on it for removal.
