Inde Motorsports Ranch Track Event Saturday June 8, 2013

The Pantera Owner’s Club of America has a special track event scheduled for Saturday June 8, 2013 at the Inde Motorsports Ranch located west of Willcox Arizona. The cost will be only $120.00 per vehicle/driver. The event will run from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm and the Inde Motorsports Ranch will provide lunch for the drivers. You don’t have to have a Pantera to be part of this event and wives and children are welcome.

Inde Motorsports Ranch is 13 miles west of Willcox Arizona which is located in the southeastern corner of the state. At an elevation of 4500 feet above sea level the average daytime low in early June is 50 degrees with highs in the low 90 degree range. The 2.75 mile 21 turn road course features a 2200 foot long straight which will allow most high powered cars to reach speeds between 120 and 140 mph. The turns are guaranteed to excite anyone and the entire track offers a true driver’s challenge. The facility offers plenty of shade and enclosed areas to relax and watch the racing.

This is an informal club driving event and not a race, however it isn’t just a drive around the track event either. Drivers will be placed in groups according to their skill level and speed of their cars. We will allow safe passing on the main straight which should satisfy those that want to go faster and test their car and driving skill.

For car owner’s that would like to ship their vehicle to the track, Inde Motorsports Ranch has agreements with shipping companies that can provide special discount rates.

Good news! As of May 15, 2013 we have exceeded the 12 car minimum to hold this track event. We currently have only three Panteras confirmed at this time, but we are hoping for more.
Tucon "Breakfast & Willcox Cat Caravan"

I'm planning to grab breakfast at the TTT (Omar's Highway Chef) at 0600 on 8 June.

The TTT is on the Northwest side of the I-10 and Craycroft Intersection, on the westbound frontage road. It is "easy on, easy off", with plenty of parking.

I hope the Tucson (and Phoenix?) Panteras can join me, and then the plan would be to leave by 0645 AM for a 0745 arrival at the Track in Willcox.

It would be a blast to get a couple of cars caravaning down together!

As of 5/27/2013 I still have a couple of spots left open for Panteras. I just did some very hot laps at the Inde Motorsports Ranch today and the Pantera did very good. I am still learning the track, but the car handles, brakes and goes very fast just as it should. I only pushed it to 120 mph down the main straight, but it should be faster once I figure out turn three.

Just wanted to confirm Saturday's meeting time and place in Tucson...

Given all things come together, we have 3-4 Tucson Panteras, and perhaps 1 (or more) from Phoenix. I believe there may be at least two other cars joining us (2009 "Bullit' Mustang and a Corvette).

See you - and thanks, Jim for organizing the event!
