Fellows,
Does anyone have tried and true advice for spiffing up the engine bay / skirt area? I have some chipping & wear due to age and was wondering if after a decent cleaning if paint or other product is recommended. I have the rougher (stock I think) surface. I'm not looking to go to extent of removing engine and sand blasting the whole bay.

Thanks for any help!

I had to remove my transaxle because of a broken stud. While it was out I compleatly stripped the inner fenders, first with heat gun and scraper, then aircraft stripper. What I found underneth was a messed up cover up of a patch job. I then proceded to cut out the rust and patches and weld in homemade repair panels. I ground all my welds and finished wuth bondo, primer and paint. During this I got the clutch wet and it froze to the flywheel!! I then installed a new Ceterforce. You are only going to get out what you put in. If you have undercoat there I guess you could just reundercoat it, but it ain't gonna look like this!
