The MSD guide states to put this diode inline between the #1 terminal and the charging indicator lamp.Question- For the prevention of Run On in a Pantera is this info. correct, and can this be achived more cosmetically desirable by installing the diode in between the blue wire terminal of the charging light and the blue wire leading to regulator.

LB=light blue. This wire attache to the same side of the terminal as the G=green (+ input directly from the ign-key), of the fuse panel. I understand this is what you suggest yourself. Fusepanel is the place where I have my diod. It has served both MSD and fuel injection.

I have a diagram here for a 72, if you would like a copy of it. Just mail me at hemipanter@brevet.nu I know cars are different, but dark blue/black goes to the regulator from the lamp. Light blue from the lamp to the fuse panel. I guess those are the colours allways used by the factory.
Regardless of wiring diagram. But as the LB does not use any fuse at the fuse panel and attaches to the other side of the panel, it may be hard to locate.
