I search previous posts and see a lot of people using Hagerty Insurance. I looked at their website and was not able to determine what they mean by limited use.

I am looking for a company that allows you to drive it more liberally. I have been using Classic Auto Insurance. I have to change my policy because I moved. They sent me some paperwork that now says I can not drive it to work. Use it as backup transportation. Use it to run errands. Stuff like that. I want to drive it pretty mch anywhere, anytime.

Does any insurance company allow more liberal use?

I have Hagerty Ins. without any problems. When you fill out the paper work there is a box for the miles you think you might what to drive a year. I put down 7500 miles. I need to change it because I haven't driven the car that much in the last two years.
Besides when I do take the Pantera out I'm always on a Pantera outing, spreading good Pantera will! (since I'm belong to P.I. and POCA!) They (Ins. Co.) just don't what you useing the Pantera as a every day car.

Same with me with Hagerty, now and then to work, the beach, car shows, etc. seems ok, but not as a daily driver. I believe I even needed to provide proof of my daily driver insurance on my Maserati Biturbo (scary using that as my "reliable" daily driver though!).
I just went through this whole ordeal a couple months ago. I settled on ANPAC's Chrome Package. 10K miles a year, you can drive it to work every so often, or on errands, or just cruise. Car can’t be the daily driver, and it has to stay in a garage etc.

Only catch is you have to insure at least one other of you’re vehicles with them to get the chrome package, but their rates were very good (at least for me).

You also need an appraisal for them to insure you.

Hope that helps some,
Dave
I went through this ordeal too when AAA refused to increase my coverage amount. Hagerty was one of the only companies that did NOT say I could not drive it to work. Rather, they merely state that it cannot be my "daily commute vehicle" or "daily driver." They also asked how many miles a year will be for club events and how many will be "pleasure" miles. I think I said 1,000 club event miles and 4-5,000 pleasure miles. No questions and no problems. Agreed value coverage and no appraisal required (although I do have a current appraisal).

I've know several club members insured with Hagerty who have had accidents and they have had NO difficulty with claims. Their testimonials make the Hagerty policy more valuable to me than some of the less costly (only slightly) policies available.
Just FYI... I have insured my classic cars with a "Collector Car Policy" thru Grundy. They too have a clause basically saying the vehicle is only to be driven as a hobby. But my agent explained to me that if I drive the car to work every day then it's "commuting". If it's a nice day out then it's driven as a hobby. Basically the collector policies rarely pay out claims and have a high profit to loss ratio therefore less likely to be questioning claims... Just my 2 cents...
