Also, there's still room for additional Panteras (or Guaras, Charlie!) (or Deauvilles,Mike!) at the Foothill Event on April 21st at the Irwindale Speedway. So far I have about 20 cars from all four chapters coming. All you have to do is get there at 3:30 and put you car out for display. You and your passenger get free admission to the evening's racing which includes Legends Cars, Super Trucks, Late Models, and Pure Stocks. At some point we will be asked to do a few parade laps on the track for the crowd.

Couple pics. I think the final count was 20 P cars. Dang fun! Woohoo! I got my Pantera sideways on a racetrack today... afterwords several people came up and mentioned how fast my car was, woot! Anyone wanna race? The old bird still has life in her yet! hehehehe.

Fun to hang out with everyone and chat cars. Gives me motivation and inspiration to work harder on my car and one day get it finished.

That's one thing about Panteras. Gotta love all the colors. Walked up the grandstands and the Panteras looked like little Matchbox cars down there.

There were lots of great looking Pantera's at Irwindale Speedway yesterday. Lots of healthy sounding Pantera's running around the track. I overheard one young teenage boy ask his father,"what kind of car is that dad?", the father said, "you're looking at a 35 yr old car called a Pantera, son". The young boy looked genuinely shocked that a car that old would still look so good. You guys put on a great show, thanks. David

Yeah, we gotta do stuff like that more often. Felt real good to get the pantera in front of a crowd. We need to go again, maybe in the summer when it's warmer though.
