How about the Rain Gutter Regatta. We changed the mast using a magnesium tig rod reducing the mast weight. this kept him up-right and sailing straight to the winners circle. But come to find out you could build a catamaran so there was no contest on the final races. He did win best design and gained a big smile.

Year 3's car takes on it's initial markings under the watchful eyes of cars 1 and 2.
An interesting note:all of the PD wheels are numbered - visible on the back of the wheels - with the newer wheels like #10s and #14s already round and smooth, with no molding dot marks on the tread surface...That work's already done !

No live rounds in the venue---darn---Alex wanted to do something with Sponge Bob. Maybe we should have done something like the picture below---next time.

Everyone had a great time and the boys loved the smoke. I had to re-charge the dry ice 4 times. Well worth the effort to see the smiles.
