Jay Leno's Garage

I've toured the garage, and he has no DeTomasos.
I asked him about it, just no specific interest.
Lots of motorbikes, and "odd" cars.

I always found that puzzling since Jay himself is an American-Italian hybrid, and it would seem that a De Tomaso would be the perfect addition to his big dog garage. Maybe he just really prefers "big dogs" to big cats.

I've seen clips on some of his stuff, and it is eclectic.

Funny you talk about Jay, he was interested in two of mine about a couple years ago, but couldn't strike a deal. I was to call him back in a couple months, but never did as I am still hanging onto them (for now anyway, nursing home isn't quite that close yet). My painter said he likes things given to him because he is Jay.

You're right, he's Scotish/Italian not Italian/American. That makes more sense.

Frankly, I don't know what koskenkorva is, but I'm willing to try anything my Nordic friends will bring that far!

I've ragged on him a couple of times at the Laguna Seca Historics about not having any DeTomasos. He said, 'Well, I've got a Bora....' I said- '302 engine- no torque, heavy, slow, doesn't handle...' The conversation kinda lagged after that.

Marlin, unlike almost every other rich car guy, Jay is the real thing. I'm sure he has skinned many if not every knuckle. Check him out.

Here is Jay with a free Rever shirt of mine. A buddy of mine was taking something to Jay (free) and asked if I wanted to send over a few shirts. I am happy Jay was there and actually grabbed one of them.

I saw more pics of his staff wearing them when another friend of mine went down there to do a demo for his detailing products. He must get CRAZY amounts of free stuff.

I think Jay has one of the most diverse collections I've seen. He has exotics from yesterday and today, Muscle cars (same), steam engined cars, and many obscure cars that we may not be aware of.
