This may seem a little premature, but wanted to get it out to all the members here before I forgot totally - CRS? I'm sure many of you are aware of Hot Rod Magazine & their annual "Power Tour" in different parts of the US every year. In 2002 I drove up to Lincoln,Nebraska where they started the tour & tagged along on their first leg that ended in Kansas City for their first overnight stop. Had 2 Panteras in this group of about 1500 cars -WHAT A HOOT!! Cars from every state including Alaska & Hawaii. So many fast cars that all the law enforcement people could do was set back & make sure they were around for any emergencies. Closest thing I'll ever experience to driving on the Autobaun - speed limit -
NONE! Unfortunately, I couldn't continue on with this wild bunch as WORK got in the way. However, in 2008 the Tour starts out in Little Rock,AR., then to Springfield. Mo. & then will swing up North here to Topeka, KS. on thier way to Lincoln,NE. My hope is that I can plan far enough ahead that I can join them on their leg to Lincoln. I want everybody here to know that they've got a rabid P-Car lover here in Topeka & if any of you are fortunate enough to be able to tag along on some or all of this Tour you've got a friend here in Topeka that will take good care of you & your car when you hit town! Would be a real pleasure for me to meet up with some of you!
