Ford Motorsport aluminum roller-tip needle bearing rockers (1.73) and Ford Motorsport springs. Competi- tion Cams camshaft. Stainless steel valves.

Cloyes double roller timing chain, Ford Motorsports aluminum rockers with needle bearings, Comp Cams hydraulic 264 cam, ARP bolts throughout with braided stainless steel lines.

PI Motorsports ceramic coated headers with ANSA mufflers.

Moroso 2 pc. nine quart oil pan with Sealed Power high volume oil pump.

Ford Racing polished aluminum valve covers and polished aluminum air cleaner with K&N filter.

Aluminum radiator with twin high performance electric fans. Stainless steel coolant overflow bottles with stainless steel water tubes.

90 amp alternator with high torque starter.

ZF Transmission

Dash-2 model. Over- hauled by Les Gray of Vehicle perfor- mance Center in Phoenix, Arizona. All worn parts were replaced. The case was powder coated in hammertone shimmer silver with a high gloss clear coat.

Clutch: Centerforce dual-friction clutch with Centerforce flywheel.

Half shafts: Spicer, high performance. Electrical system: Engine bay and firewall wiring was rewired. Club mem- bers Steve Julius and Gil Mares assisted in wiring chores.

Wilwood brakes with drilled rotors, Wilwood master cylinder with extra duty vacuum pump.

17" billet aluminum PI Motorsports 5 star custom 17” wheels designed to clear brakes.

Racing seat belt harnesses with harness bar.

LeCarra steering wheel. The gauges are stock Veglia.

Cooling: Aluminum 6-core Fluidyne radiator with two, 14 inch 1,250 CFM “sucker” fans. 160 degree thermostat. Operating temperature is between 190- 196 degrees. All hoses are Gates brand and are double-clamped. All tubes replaced with polished stainless steel pipes.


Air Conditioner: Sandon brand com- pressor. O-ring style hoses and updated fittings. Condenser and fan replaced with ribbon type, light weight unit backed with an 11” pusher fan.

Suspension: KYB shocks in front and stock units in the rear. Stock spring rates used. Rubber bushings. Steering rack rebuilt by PI Motorsports. Rear sway bar chrome plated.

Custom seats with improved bolsters.

You're right, been a west coast car for the majority of it's life, I bought it off a guy who lived in the the Hamptons (NY), I did as much research on the car that I could and found this article:
