Anyone else get them? I'm in the "eye of the hurricane" where the dumb thing is stuck somewhere and I'm pain free for the moment. Symptoms are still there, so I know this one is still coming. Good thing for modern pain killers.

Java, I think you might reconsider when you want to curl up and pass out from having one, assuming you've never had one. Sometimes they make you vomit from pain, no joke!
The doc said that some pain meds don't work well if you're in severe pain, and I can back that up. I was shot full of morphine and still woke up screaming, which scared my kids pretty bad.
Seriously, they might tell me that I should cut back on some foods, and I'm willing to cut back if it means I don't have to go thru four weeks of stupid on/off pain, not to mention other unpleasant side-effects. Call me cheap, but I'd rather spend four weeks in pain & on meds than give up a couple thousand (for surgery) that could be spent on other things, such as the Pantera.
