Fire can't be good on a motor and/or trans

I should think that the value of a car with history is the originality of the parts. The more original parts, or availability of replacement original parts, the more value. There doesn't seem to be many original parts left that are in salvagable condition and I am sure there are very few replacements pieces.

"engine and transmission SHOULD be okay" are you kidding me. For a starting bid of $35k I would want a guarantee.......and reciepts of the build.
