Just got off the phone with Daryle at Kodiak Wheels.

Here's the deal.
If 10 sets are ordered during the production of the Group Buy, then everyone will get 25% off. If 10 sets are not ordered, then everyone will get 10% off.

As an example of the 25% discount.
8x17 currently priced at $502.95 US dollars, with 25% discount would be $377.21.
Your not going to find a better wheel for the money.

Daryle at Kodiak has committed to a 1/2 page ad in the PI Magazine for the next year, 4 issues.

Daryle has also committed to donating another set of Kodiak Wheels for the Annual POCA convention in 2006 for me to raffle off.

We need 10 sets for the 25% discount guys...
Contact me at cozland at cox.net and I will continue to put this together for
you.

I need a list of people ready to buy ASAP.

I agree with Kats 100%! I've been looking for Pantera wheels for a long time and did tons of research and saw these on Jims car at SEMA. They are Awesome! Don't miss out on this last once in a few years deal! You won't be disappointed. They are very very light as well as purty and shiny!http://www.kodiakracingwheels.com/prices.html

Coz-Can you get the other previous buys to post their pictures on this thread? Smiler

Buy the way I'm selling my Mustang chrome 17" cobra "R" rims and Pilot Sports tires in both in new condition 235/40x17 frt and 285/40x17 rears $1195 for the set! But you pay for shipping from Hawaii.

Heard from Daryle today and want pass this information on to everyone. Time is getting short for the wheel order. We have 7 days to finish this up and get the orders in. The cut off date is Thursday, maybe Friday the 30th if the order s are called in early enough.

Daryle message:
Jim,
I received the standard center cap so I will modify the programs I
already have to allow its use. Not to sound like I'm pushing but I have been
told by my material supplier that we will have a price increase in January,
that means that our prices will be going up. Everything ordered before the
end of the year will have current pricing. The material increase is going to
be about 7 to 9 percent. It will push the wheel cost up a bit. Customers can
always send us the build information later but we have to allocate the
material and we only do that once we have a firm order. For those customers
that are on a tighter budget it would be a good idea to get the order in.
Thanks for the help in putting the order together. It is nice to deal with
people that are committed to promoting there sport and helping others. Have
a great Christmas and happy new year. I will be in the office next week from
Tuesday to Friday so customers can still get in touch with me. Bye for now.

You guys need at least 1, if not 2 more for me to make the 25% deal happen before the price increase at the end of the year.
John Taphorn is going to wait for the 19 " wheels and his new car to arrive before ordering.
Dennis Antenucci is getting a set of wheels from another source/his sponsor.

It's up to you guys now, I've done all I can do for you.

Coz,

I would like to get in on this deal but need to finallize a couple things.

Coz what style are your FX ? I like them nice choice.

Johnny Alki ? 16x8.5 and 17x11 what offsets are you using. Is it safe to say a stock bodied 73 L would use the same? I dont have the time to measure the car ? The barn is packed and the Cobra, Pantera and Mustang are in hibernation during the NY cold weather LOL

Ron
Yes, mine are the FX's.
One of the guys will help you with the measurements for a stock bodied car.
I really don't know since I have a wide body. You might want to call Daryle, he has most of them as well and will help you....

Daryle told me he has the one's you send and is cutting the center of the wheels to use these stock center caps.

I have been extremely busy at work and have not had time to confirm with Daryle, just Coz.

I hope I am not too late.

I need to know what offsets to go with so I can contact Daryle. I am going with the FX wheels like on Coz's car. Mine is a stock bodied '71. Thinking of 17x8 front and 17x11 rears using 235/40/17 front and 335/35/17 rear wheels. What offset should I use?

Thanks!

Adam Katz
I have put in my order with Daryle today but I would like to get an idea on the right offsets as well. I went with 17x8F, 18x11 rears and would like to know what offsets people are using for 11 wide rims on stock body car. Id like to put more rubber inside the wheel well and not have any rubber protrude out from the fender at all. I would like to be sure I wont have contact with the lower A control arms in the rear. Is a backspace more than 6 inches going to make contact? I see the pic of Mr Maffeos car. Looks like he got it right. Beautiful job! Do you mind giving us your measurements for a point of reference? If thats 6 inches on a 11 inch rear wheel then I'm done. Thank you.
If I remember correctly, these prices were only good through the end of '05. Starting Jan 1st his prices went up, mainly because the price of materials went up then for Daryle.

Unfortunately, I don't think you will be able to get anywhere near the price we paid for ours, but its worth a phone call at least. Daryle is a good guy. I am extremely satisfied with my wheels!

Adam
