The LA Concoours is developing into a major event. At the present time our cars are lumped in as Euro/American hybrids. AKA red headed step children.

I would like to encourage everyone in the So Cal area with a show quality car to attend this event. I'm looking for numbers. If the DeTomaso entries are numerous enough, it will give me the staistics I need to petition these folks for a DeTomaso class. Ferrari has several classes, we have zip. Please help our cause. Bring your Ford era Panteras, GT5 & GT5-S, Charlie Falcone & his Guara, Longchamps, Deauvilles, Mangustas, anyone got a Vallelunga?

For those of you who never make it to Monterey because its too far to drive your Pantera, this is your opportunity to attend a classic event closer to home.

More Panteras were sold in So Cal than anywhere else in the world. This event is in our own backyard. Lets show these folks the excitement we can add to their show.
Let’s all fill out applications, include one or two nice photos and send it in,

IT’S FREE,,, Maybe if a ton of Detomaso applicants sign up before 2007 they will create a Detomaso class. Let’s overwhelm them this month, it will take you two minutes to fill out and send the application. Do it before Monday,,, Do it now .

Last year they gave me about $200.00 worth of stuff for going, cups, books, car cleaning stuff......

Hello Rapid
Please sign up if you are interested, I was the only Pantera / Detomaso there in 2006. My car is modified, 427, rims, seats…….on and on. I took a 3rd place trophy in class. You have a bad ass car, a very beautiful example of DeTomaso equipment. Your car would smoke mine in competition any day. Your car is so clean,, winning the whole show is not far fetched, really.

It is by invitation only so you must fill out the form, add some nice photos and send it in. See you there!!! Opps, Wait a minute, what if I am not invited this year, now that would be embarrassing, all these “see you there plans” and they won’t even let me in the gate...........…($@#!&*$#@)…. OK, I hope I’m there and I hope to see you there.

This is a beautiful show. The Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance is extremely professional and well organized. Large display of vintage race cars too. Not many kids (they like to touch) or scum that just happen along as one must pay to view the cars. To attend with or without a car is truly a treat, with an invitation it is free of charge, that’s right NO entry fee (the way it should be). Hell, they should pay us just to show up with our beautiful autos. The cars are awesome, ladies are beautiful. I must encourage everyone to attend one way or another.
