1973-1975...I was Originally on a 2 yr. lease from Concord Ford (Concord, Ca)
1975-1976...I was owned by a so.San Francisco shoe store owner. This is when my "pseudo GTS" paint scheme was applied,BTW. Wanting to expand to 2 shoe stores, he accepted an offer of $10,500 on June 16,1976 from Ron Southern, my continous/present owner/enjoyer/caretaker/wrench/guage watcher/strange noise hearer/strange smoke smeller/maintainance putter-offer...
I live in a garage(under my car cover) by vineyards in Sonoma,Ca.within earshot of nearby Infineon Raceway.
I share that garage with a blue 2000 Audi TT 1.8 turbo quattro coupe, hence the 2Ts in "PanTTera"
That's Ron's name in Audi TT forums, too. I share that garage well, plus, it keeps the miles off of me...
"Don't get around much anymore" could be my theme song, because I'm in what I call "scary stock" condition...(needing brakes,hoses,other much neglected upgrades)
There's good news....Ron has recently retired,so time and $ for both of us WILL happen...
