I just bought a '72 Pantera for which the door and rear deck keys were lost.
Are the cylinders to these three locks that same and can I find off-the-shelf replacements or are they special and must I order Pantera specific cylinders?

Find a locksmith that carries Fiat keys or you could order some blanks from one of the vendors and take your cylinder (or car to the locksmith and have them cut the keys for you.
All three outside locks are Fiat and can be keyed alike. After thirty years, many cars have mismatched lock sets, and getting a key for one lock might not give you a key good for all three locks. Find a good ole boy locksmith, drive the P-car over to him and let him work his magic. Don't go into the Home Depot lock aisle :-)
While you are working on outside access, does your car have the added cable to release the front hood lock if the stock cable should ever break?

Larry is correct- originally, the ignition key was #1 one and the two doors & trunk were #2 key. Since we have owned our car (bought in 1980), the right door takes one key while the left & trunk take another slightly different one. Probably just wear, I guess as stripping the car to bare metal 15 years ago showed no collision damage. Remember, these things are 32 years old!
