Now that I am retired, looking to sell my 1985 Biturbo E model, $7,500 OBO. After 30 years of impeccable and meticulous ownership I am selling my E model, silver with charcoal bottom. Two owner car. I bought the car right after the initial owner, as his wife didn't want stick shift. Have all receipts, stack of about 3" thick where I have kept the car immaculate over all the years. Roof, trunk and sides just been painted by Lanzini (of Overhaulin) since it was fading a bit and I didn't like that. Just re-did the interior door panels as well, as can be seen in the photos. Car always in rust free CA. Only 250 of the E models were made, a big step above the regular biturbo cars, higher HP and torque, two tone paint, lower and stiffer suspension, intercooled, etc. Just added upgraded headlights, $600 fuse box, rebuilt brakes, on and on. To prep for CA smog, just paid close to $1,000 for new CA certified custom Cats and exhaust pipes. Passed smog incredibly clean super low emissions, even blew away the Smog Station guys of how low the emissions were. If you want the looks & performance, great bang for the buck. Always draws a crowd at car shows. Car runs perfect, and very fast. As you know by looking around, these cars are getting rare and never seen in this excellent cosmetic and mechanical shape. Only selling because I just retired, too many exotics and need an SUV to take my bike for beach cruises. Beautiful fast car, don't miss out!! The Biturbo has some Detomaso relevance, but I never really researched the connection. Funny, it gets more attention than my Panteras at cars shows...go figure. Email: ciao4u2@aol.com
