Just for a debate: What is a mid engine car? Our Panteras are consider mid engine cars. But on Top Gear when testing an AMG GT R they called it a mid engine car because the engine (in the front) is mounted quite far back. Is there a definition, like if the center of the crank is between the two axles, is it then a mid engine car?
Secondly, the dynamics that we like in the Pantera includes:
-Easy to turn on its vertical axis
-Less wheel spin due to weight on rear wheels
-Better brake balance due to less weight on front wheel
All those dynamics, some do apply to a car like the AMG GT R I guess, but not all
In theory, the engine should be in the middle compared to the two axles, right?
