Looking at Senor Georgio's post with the picture of Alfred E Neuman, I couldn't help but be reminded of the so-called Elephant Ears that get plastered onto the sides of our beloved Panteras. The similarity, and effect, is overwhelming.
Henceforth, I propose we call these air ducts Alfred E's or Neuman's to better reflect what they do to the beautiful lines of the Pantera.
As for me, whenever I see a car with those air ducts, the image of my childhood anti-hero, Alfred E Neuman, will flash in my head...And it ain't a pretty picture.
