momo seats

I just got a pair of speed 2 momo's and going to put them in soon...love the looks!

Please post or send me some photos, I'd like to see,,,, what mounts are you going to use ??? I'd like to see how they fit.

You can see the seats if you go to momo usa on the net,r you thinking about the speed 2? They look awsome. Alittle bit differant than anything els. I just installed a set of the Huntsacker Rally seats. $280.00 a pair with seat tracks. Very nice seats although not for the very large person.

Were you able to get a color close to your interior color, or did you get black?

Got black Mike. But I have already changed the color to black on the bulkhead and may do the door panels. It doesn't look to bad with the tan and black combination.

Hey Coz...You mean $280 EACH right? Also, how tall are you? I recently installed Gary Herrig's C4 seats (just like you had). I removed the bottom "spring" and bolted them right to the floor. They're still about 1/2" higher than stock. I'm 6'-2" and my head is about 1/2" from the roof. I bought dropped floor pans but have not installed them yet. How's the head clearance with the Huntsackers? How are the mounted?

No, 280.00 for the pair with seat tracks. Hell of a deal considering how really nice and how comfortable the seats are. Lots of support and they recline forward and back. Very solid seat for the money.

They are a little larger than Gary's seats and I sit just a little higher. But I like them better becasue I feel much more secure in the car and I am short so sitting higher is better for me.

With my 4" dropped floor pan, I have 3" clearance from the top of the seat to the roof. I am 5'4". With the seat all the way forward, I can just get the clutch peddel to the floor. With the seat all the way back, I can't reach the peddel at all.

I redrilled 2 of the holes on the seats mounting brackets on one side to match the space between my original seat tracks. Using the forward holes in the original seat tracks on the floor, I marked where the rear holes were on the new seat tracks and drilled 2 more holes all the way through the floor pan.

I bolted the new seat tracks to the original forward holes on our floor tracks and then put a bolt through the seat track through the new hole I drilled through the floor pan and then used 2 large washers and nut to secure it from under the car. It was very easy and they are as solid as can be.

The upper blosters on these seats are a little large, but they have just come out with a seat that has a little smaller ones. Had I waited, I would have gotten those instead. But being small, I can get around them easily.

I don't think you'd have any problem with these seats with a dropped floor pan.

But just to be sure, I'll get someone to sit in them that is 6' and let you know how their head room is sitting in the seat tomorrow.

If the Huntsacker Rally seats have 3" clearance from the top of the seat to the roof, sitting on 4" dropped floor pans, that means they will not fit in a '71 - '74 Pantera with oem floor pans, agreed? Pretty tall seats.

I think it would be close. I have the back of my seat pretty much sitting straight up. If you were to recline the seat a couple of clicks back, that would probably give you another 2".
I had a friend that's 6'3" sit in them last night. With the seat all the way back, still almost straight up and down, he had 1" of clearance from the top of his head to the roof. His knees were pretty bent though. Glad I'm not that tall :-) I'm a pretty short guy :-)
It would really help to have a reduced bulkhead hump. Then they could go back another 3 or 4"'s.
So to answer your question, as long as you recline the seats, they will probably fit. They are 33" tall. Figure another 1" with the tracks.

Probably not, but they look a lot like the Hunsackers as well Mark.
