Check with Diane at Northern California Pantera Club, we had a few rooms as of a week ago in Carmel Valley. If not you can probably get a one nighter or more in Salinas. As for the show, if you haven't entered your car already, you may not get in except as a spectator which is cool. You may be able to call Concourso and get a corral pass for another option. We also have quite agroup from Pantera International go to the Historic Races at Lagua Seca on Saturday which is fun. Lastly, any level of car is welcome. We are celebrating the 35 years of Pantera so it will be a blast !!
Mark and others,

While you will see some amazing trailer queens (trailers are for boats!) the concorso IS NOT a Pebble Beach style event.

Jason Eaton brought his Pantera in still unfinished condition a year or two ago - no one tracked him down to remove his car. Wink

Most of the Panteras are drivers. Yours will fit in just fine.

The Concorso will take the entire day. You will be there early to stage your car, and you'll have plenty of time to wipe of the road grime and then walk the grounds and see the sights. I did a die hard exit one year at about 5 pm. Many of us will leave Concorso, freshen up and go the PCNC dinner in Carmel Valley that night. Tickets are available to those that get them early enough - it usually does sell out and late show-ups usually must be turned around.

I've done it, including the dinner, with a one day trip from Fresno - but it was a LONG day.
You should be able to pull it off from down south.

Food and drink is $$$ - I pack a wine/cheese lunch and bring a cooler of drinks. A couple of folding captain/camping chairs are nice to toss in the luggage tray and bring sunscreen!
