The Monterey Weekend is fast approaching. For many, the weekend is not complete without heading off to Laguna Seca Raceway for the Historic Races.
If your Monterey weekend car is your De Tomaso, parking at Laguna Seca can be scary. General parking is on the hills above the racetrack, and it is just dry grass-covered dirt. Not really where you want to park your Italian Exotic.
For nearly twenty years, there has been the option of buying your admission tickets for the race through Pantera International, and in the process receiving a corral parking pass. The corral is within the confines of the racetrack, on flat ground, much easier to enter and leave than general parking, and you know the car next to you won’t be slamming doors into your $15,000 paint job.
However, this year Pantera International will not be hosting the Corral.
But relax, George made sure the tradition will continue, and the Pantera Corral has been passed on to the good folks who have been bringing you the Las Vegas Speed Trials. Yes, the Pantera Club of Northern California is proud to announce our new sponsorship of the Laguna Seca Pantera Corral.
While this year, we are unable to continue with the tent, tables, chairs and excellent luncheon you may have enjoyed in past years, everything else will be as you remember it.
Same location,same good feeling of being amongst your fellow De Tomaso brethren. Tickets will again be handed out at the Concorso, and can also be mailed to you.
Pricing is the same as advance ordering direct from the racetrack, and that is much cheaper than buying at the gate on race day. You can purchase three, two or one day tickets. There is no corral offered for Friday, but Saturday offers the Pantera Corral, and Sunday offers a general corral in a slightly different area.
The PCNC website is now available for online ordering and Paypal payment. You can also use snail mail and personal checks if you are still hesitant about online payments.

For you veterans, you know the Corral is THE way to park at the Historics. For you newbies, trust me, this is how you want to do it.
This is our first year doing this and we are getting a late start. If you know you are going, PLEASE - PLEASE order your tickets NOW. The size of the corral area is somewhat dependent upon our first ticket order, and we must have that order received by Laguna Seca no later than June 23 - just two weeks from today.
