I had an opportunity to follow one of these on the Pasadena Freeway late one evening. Sure looked like fun. The view from behind at night is wicked. It's a Campagna T-Rex.

No leaning.

To do so would require the use of motorcycle tires, which are designed for leaning in corners.

The T-Rex uses car tires. This thing is more like a sports car than a motorcycle. It has a mid-engine chassis. It corners flat, sits very low to the ground, one of the videos claim 2 G's. If you haven't already done so, take time to watch the videos.

This animal has been on the market since the mid-90's. Below are the engines used in the various years (according to Wikpedia.) A whole lot of horsepower!

GSXR-1100 Powered (1996-2000)
ZX11 Powered (2001-2002)
S&S Powered Thunder Edition T/R (2003)
ZZR1200 Powered (2003-2006)
ZX14R Powered 1400R (2007-)

The saddle bags look a bit awkward, but at least you have a place to keep multiple sets of clean underwear! Smiler

Dang. I didn't know that. I always came into Charlote from the west side. I had a close friend who lived down there for four years andwe visited him a couple times a year. Now he lives in Nashville.
