My son and I went mountain biking on Saturday morning in Soquel Demonstration Forest (in the Santa Cruz mountains) with a few friends. "Demo" is one of the best spots on the West Coast for mountain biking.

Anyway, one of my friends used a mobile GPS to record our data and then uploaded it to MotionBased. Check out our path, speed and elevation gain:

Now think of the Pantera applications... It would be great to capture the next Silver State ORR, club tour or caravan to Las Vegas on a mobile GPS and upload it to MotionBased so we can all see the various routes people took, as well as how much fun they had on the drive. Just a thought!

We'd have to use code names and ID...

I thought of that too. If someone had an "incident" of some kind an insurance company could find the post and use the data to decline coverage. I imagine it could also be used by law enforcement to prosecute, kind of like the YouTube video with the idiot driving a Lamborghini 219 mph on an Arizona highway in the middle of the night.

So play it safe and only post your track events and ORR activities.
