+1 An outstanding combination. Black is beautiful, but having owned 2 black cars, I'll never own another. Just a few things to consider...
They're near impossible to keep clean as they show a patina of dust within 15 minutes of detailing. And every speck of dirt or dust is visible on a black car, as well as any panel imperfection. And don't get me started on how hot the car gets if parked in the sun for ANY length of time; is your AC up to the task?!

I've heard it said since I was a kid, if you own a black car you'll never own a second one.
Honestly I know one guy who has owned two ... but the second one was a very rare car (1989 BMW M6), he didn't really have a choice in color.
I'm a glutton for punishment, I've owned 4 black cars over the years.
They all looked great for about an hour after being washed/waxed, then the dust settles on it and it's all over. For those 60 minutes nothing else looks as good, but after that, not so much.

I always start looking for another color but just can't say no to a black sports car. Black and chrome is your best choice. although I'm a bit biased...
I've owned 2 black Pantera's. Thats the only colour for a sports car, IMHO. Its worth the extra effort.

I like the black metallics like Honda uses. It looks like straight black until you get right up on it, then instead of seeing imperfections like swirls etc, you get the flake in the face!
It's a real GTS and I'm going back to the stock Silver/Black

Ford Ingot Silver. Same as they are using on the new mustangs. I think it looks perfect. A good modern update I believe.

Beautiful color combination. My no 2 pantera is a '72 euro GTS that came from the factory in that silver/Black. I intend to bring it back to that some day.

Are you using a flat black, satin or semi-gloss black for the hood and deck lid?
On the factory GTS cars, does the black on the rockers match the black on the hood.

Where did you source the leather cover and insert? Looks good. Did you cover the original dash yourself? Looks like new idiot light covers too.

I will be painting the hood and deck a semi gloss.
I have the rockers semi gloss and textured Urethane for rock chip protection. I will also using clear bra for some of the lower sections that are prone to stone damage.

The leather work is from a local guy its good but I wouldn't say it's great. There are a couple of ripples. I would not feel comfortable recommending him.
Covering a dash like this is pretty basic.
Take time to talk to a local upholstery shop. You might be pleasantly surprised what they can do for you.

When you first sought input on color, didn't realize it was a true GTS. You chose well!
Take your time at this stage. I kinda rushed on mine just to get it reassembled, then spent a decent amount of time after the fact adjusting door gaps, aligning shut lines, tightening trim, door handles, etc.
I guess I'm saying spend the time on seriously obsessive fitment in reassembly, just as the Italians obsessed over originally.
My car shuts with a 'thunk' and both lids with a moderate push. Rattle free and tight.
Oh, and I'd strongly consider heat insulation for floor, console, firewall, plus sound insulation in door panels and roof. You'll be amazed at the difference.
Your car is going to be fantastic.
