Hi All,
It’s my first posting here but I have been hiding in the background for a couple of years now reading the fantastic posts re the Pantera and some of your restorations.

I am a member of the UK drivers club and am an Irishman living in Ireland.

Anyway, I have been doing a LOT of work on my car and I thought you guys would like a look at what I have been up to

Thanks for your comment.
Due to a lot of rust I got my car media blasted on the undercarriage and engine bay there was very little left! There were pin holes in the two main Chassis that the engine sits on the only option was to do a half ass job of patching the original up or making a complete new set. We used a heaver gauge metal for extra strength and seam welded it as well. The box section on the inner wheel houses were no better so I chose to have new ones made!

The floor pan is also very bad and will be changed and also the inner middle and outer rockers will be changed, Oh yea and also the front and rear bulkheads are being changed!

So plenty of fun ahead.
Have you seen Johnny Woods' Pantera? He had to do a lot of reconstruction too: Check it out here:

FWIW, Kirk Evans http://www.amerisportindustries.com/ designed and built a new modular DOM tube frame that unbolts into three sections. The rear will fit the old cars, the front can be adapted to the old cars, and the center section will allow the top to be targa-d with ease. I've only seen pics of the rear section and have no idea what these pieces cost. Just an FYI for anyone else who has such extensive rust, but lacks the fabrication skills.
Yes Johnny was the one that encouraged me to post here about my Pantera, he said all you guys would love the photos.
Sorry for the next silly question but I would not be the best when it comes to attachments etc. I have been trying to post more photos they are approx 500k in size. I keep getting a over the size limit warning and cant post them as a result. It quotes a limit of I think 300k How do I get around that??
