Hahahhahaahaha, I wish. Auger Resources is a part time venture for us right now. Jaime and I both work full time jobs and then come home and start making shift boots, etc. then ship them out the next morning on our way to work. We don't make enough money off of the shift boots to even support one person working full time (not even at minimum wage). It's cool though, we're just in it for fun and vacation money. In May we're going to the Isle of Man for two weeks to watch the TT races. It'll be the only Auger money that we've ever spent.

Guess how much I got the Viper for though? $42,500. Not bad eh? Most people don't know how affordable they're getting. I found three or four other 97's with higher mileage (~50k miles) for $35k. I have a friend who paid $35k for a Mitsubishi EVO. Hrm, EVO or Viper GTS? Such a good deal for a Viper.

Hahahah, awesome. Yeah, the blue 96's are already beginning to hold steady. You'll pay less for a 97/98/99 right now. And the RT/10's are even cheaper, but I couldn't live without side windows and a roof. Smiler The car is awesome to look at, a blast to drive and they seem to be bullet proof (makes sense, all that displacement and all those cylinders means that each piston isn't really working that hard). Several guys on the Viper forum report over 100,000 miles aready with no problems. Amazing. I'm simply impressed that mine is 9 years old and has NO problems. That's simplicity working for you. My 5 year old Z06 corvette already had a number of really annoying electronical issues cropping up by the time I sold.

Don't know what else to say other than I'm completely ecstatic about this car. Most fun I've had with a car yet. Smiler
Got rid of my Viper for the Pantera. Performance goes to the Viper hands down (even stock). IT is easy to care for. I had mine as a daily driver, 50K miles and 650HP to the wheels...Well I can never leave well enough alone.

Now you get to decide wether you are going to spend 10, 20 or 30 grand to upgrade. The upgrades go in increments of 10G's LOL.

Hehehe, awesome. Big Grin

You're right about the upgrades. I thought the Corvette was expensive! Normal maintanance stuff is nice and cheap tho. I just bought a new set of good brake pads (ones that won't squeek like an old school bus). Cost me $150 for the whole set. Would spend twice that on the vette, and certainly spent more than that on my Pantera's pads.

I did the smooth tubes and K&N's and my new exhaust should be here tomorrow, but that's all that I'm going to do for power. Besides that, I need to throw on a set of Kumhos, maybe some stripes and call it good. Wink ...for a while ...I hope.
I love loud pipes!!!!!If I could run just headers with no mufflers on the street I would! I have the Hall Big bore mufflers and love the sound but they are ughly to me. Would love to replace them with some sort of stainless muffler boxes with no baffling inside and twin tips out da back! Anybody know of such a animal?
