1939 Ford truck. Maybe I will get it done before I retire. Going back stock. Flat head V8. Just not enough time and energy left at the end of the day.....

Great project, looks like tons of fun.
I feel your pain, especially during winter, days are short, my naps are longer, tired easy and too many christmas gifts to buy. All the good football games are on and I haven't hung the christmas lights yet.
I have a half finished XKE on my back patio, a 66 vette I am working on in my garage and my latest project pantera was delivered last week.
I have been looking at late 30's trucks for a distant future project, just not there yet.
You seem to have a very nice platform to start from.

Mike - That truck looks like a great project. I'm envious. I've been looking for a 1960 slab sided Ford F-100 Custom Cab pickup with a 292 V8 and a 3-speed column shifter. I learned to drive in my grandfathers. When he passed and his affairs were being settled I called a family member to inquire about buying it and learned they had already sold it the previous week - for only $200. I was livid! Oh well. I'll find one and restore it to match my grandfather's someday.
Quickitty - You should get rid of some of those stale projects so you can play with your new Pantera and find a great truck. I'll take that junk XKE off your hands cheap to help you out!
