Can any one tell me how to remove the side vent(next to 1/4 window)-thank you

Pull the wheel well panel, then look way up inside the body. there are 4 small nuts, in my case they were wing nuts. gently unscrew and the panels are free. I've heard that some vents had only three posts. These posts may break off. If they do, drill out the hole and JB Weld new studs in, not a big problem,
Look up in the well. Pretty tough spot to get to.

On my 74, there was only one nut. The rest were the same sort of stud into plastic holders thingamabob that is used on the front cowl grill covers. They need to be popped out after removing the one nut.
