Hopefully someone can help.  I need some help with identifying my brakes.

I have wilwood on the front and jfz on the back. I like to purchase rebuild kits for both calipers. but not sure which kit will be the right one to buy. Looking for rebuild kits with all seals. Brakes are on a 1974 pantera, when you need more info let me know.

Thanks.

I believe JFZ brakes is no longer in business or it was possibly renamed or acquired by another company. Several US brake companies share the same origin so many of the dimensions and specs are the same. Your Wilwood calipers appear to be the older version. I'm sure Wilwood can supply new seals but you will need to determine the piston sizes (diameter and height) for them to help. I suggest changing the seals and pistons. It is also important to verify that the bores are in good condition.

Yes David ,

I believe you are correct in the history. On the JFZ, there is a company that still makes the seal kit for them. I think they are called Lamb components. There are different size pistons depending what they put on the rear, but I have not been able to find any replacement pistons, but i have some extra calipers and have robbed some parts off them. Wilwood still makes pretty much all the replacement parts for their calipers. And wilwood makes the pads that will fit both brands

Pegasus Auto Racing carries seal kits and pads for JFZ / Sierra calipers, as stated a lot are standard pattern and interchangeable. BTW Sierra Racing Products was purchased by Joe's Racing Products who then promptly dropped making brakes for some reason.
