First of all, I would like to say this is my first post, but I have been following this forum for a while.
My name is Jim Macleod, and I have always been a car enthusiast. Ever since I could remember, I have always wanted a Pantera or a GT 40, and I finally started my search several months ago. I soon came in contact with the guy who so many people recommended and the guy who's car I lusted for........Ron McCall. I met Ron, we talked about what I was looking for, and he made it happen. He found me a '73 with body and paint work done, but needing full assembly and upgrades that I was looking for.
I know this isn't the Va. Wildcat race car, but it's a project that I'm really excited about. I thought I would share some pictures of the car - and the process of restoration - as Ron works his magic on another Pantera.

Stripes wouldn't have been my first choice but they really have grown on me. I think I will have just as much fun this winter seeing Ron bring it all together. What are the odds of finding such an expert and a class act in your own backyard ……it was meant to be.

Thanks, Jim Macleod

It looks like you picked a great car and you definitely have a great Pantera expert close at hand. Ron is a very skilled and decent guy and you will certainly be having a lot of fun when he's done.
