Hi, New to this site. I am a life long Ford nut and have been a fan of the Pantera Since before I could drive. Thinking of making some changes in my small collection to make room for one and I need to learn what to look for (and lookout for).

I have been looking online and found a picture that I hope someone would know more about. I suppose I could search for Blue GT4? Not sure that is enough to bring anything up about this particular car.

Here is the car;

I have all kinds of info on it, but going to bed at the moment. Almost bought it a few years ago, but it required high octane fuel, not pump gas for CA. Nice aluminum engine though I recall. I will upload info and photos later, as the martini just kicked in, and I am toast. Why not just buy my Group 4?...make an offer if you like it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/...s/72157639222739254/

I would much appreciate you digging all those pics out. Would really like to know some details on it.

Love your car, it is incredible, guessing it is in the unobtanium range tho. Cool

I totally agree. I wonder if there is any interference?

I would like to know the tire size, wheel size with Backspace depth as well. Front and rear. I can't quite make out the tread but they look like BFG TKO tires....kinda.

Hopefully Jan has some of that information.

The tread pattern is the same at Toyo R8888, and they make a 34530ZR19.
Also any Pantera that looks like your choice or DOES 200 usually costs six figures to build or buy. If either comes close to your final requirements then it's usually easier, cheaper with less disappointments and lost time to talk with a loan agent instead of build yourself.
What the hey...you guys don't eat, work or sleep? Ha ha the passion! Well, I gots to eat, but will give some photos for now and give more info later. I did load some photos into my Flickr account below that I had on file from June 2006 when it was for sale. I will load more detail on it later, but at least some photos for you for now. Like I said, it needed race fuel, not pump gas octane: https://www.flickr.com/photos/...s/72157650081295996/

But just sayin, you should slam down the bucks on mine instead.
I remember that car when it was for sale on Ebay. I talked to the owner and he told me quite a bit on that car and I am sure you would not be disappointed with that car performance wise. As long as the current owner has taken care of her. That cat had some very nice detail work done to her Jans pics don't so much of, like the latchs on the hood...very trick. The fan in the wheel well I would guess to be a engine oil cooler.
