Beats me? I bought them from a post on the Detomaso mailing list. A guy posted a pic ..I sent a check and my seats came in. Would I send money to an unknown. Probobly not, I trust my Pantera brothern. And I got some really nice seats. I'm going to meet another owner Sat. I hope you guys have a great time in Monteray..

I have the same seats, only mine are in grey cloth. I believe they are BMW sport seats from the 80s? Made by Racaro. Maybe BMW 320i? Something like that.

Nice seats and I would also love to know what exactly they came from and I have the same question about the forward rollbar brace, does it bug you? I have been thinking of adding one of these. Removing the headliner a couple weeks ago brought home how thin that metal touching my head is!

When I started bolting the seats in, I was afraid the forward brace would be in the way. It does not bother me. The passenger may feel a little cramped. But thats not my problem It gives them something to hold on to. $500 plus shipping.

Great support, and they are firm, with the original factory seat I could feel the floor under my ass,but I can tell you that the c5 Corvette seat that i just took out was lower and back further for us TALL guys. I guess I'm going to get used to sitting a bit closer to the wheel. From my experience with the seats. The best setup for a 6 footer would be Hump reduction kit and C5 sport seats.
