On my journey to find 110 Octane I stopped at a gas station to get directions. I was unabele to see my car for five F--en minutes and someone backed into my Pantera damaging the hood and passanger fender. HIT AND RUN....!#$^% I know this is not a question for the form, but it is nice to vent. I am loosing faith in the general population as having respect for fine automobiles and generalistic morals.

I feel your pain. Except for not being able to catch the jerk who did it, you might be better off not seeing it actually happen. I watched my baby roll forward off the front of a trailer and there was nothing I could do to stop it. It put a small dent in the area where the L bumper attaches to the sheet metal (the aftermarket fibreglass bumber from Hall took quite a shot with no ill effects)It wiped out the tailgate on my Expedition, almost 3,000 in damage between the 2.
Hope the damage wasn't too bad, Good luck.
Gary

Cab,
Are you just now discovering the fact that society sucks! Before my somewhat dimming love affair with Panteras I used to build street rods..show quality only. After being in the body shop for a consideable length of time I finally picked up my black lacquer 37 Ford Coupe on a Thursday about 5 pm. The paint was completed by perhaps the top painter in Southern Calif. (at the time). A few friends and I went to a local coffee shop for a sandwich. My car was parked in a well lit area, albeit was out of direct view. When we left the restaurant and as I approached my car I could see from 50 feet that someone had vandalized the left rear fender. Come to find out this or these animals had used a church key or screwdrive to RUIN all four fenders (the damage was completely thru the paint and extended to the depth of approximately .030 inch into the metal. I was sick to my stomach.
