Well after spinning a bearing, breaking a rod and having to have my car airlifted home on last years PNW Fall Cruise, it's back and better than ever. It was the club championship at the golf course this weekend and I had high hopes of winning it again (wow that makes me feel like an argent d**k but I'm not that good really, just lucky). I eased my Pantera out of the garage on Saturday morning at 5:00 a.m. trying hard not to bother my neighbors for a 7:00 a.m. tee time. I played not bad at net -5. Not going to tell you my handi cap (it's huuggee!). On Saturday afternoon my BIT*CH neighbor ripped me telling me that I woke her up at 5:03 this morning and she couldn't get back to sleep! If I was going to drive "THAT THING" I should wait until people have a chance to wake up!! So when I left at 4:30 this morning, I made sure I lit it up at about 6K just to say good morning. I'm really not a mean person but I don't like it when someone tells me I can't drive my car when they think we should all drive Priuses like she dose's. As she told me last year. Oh well, I eased the car onto the freeway into the a crystal clear morning and headed into the foothills on my way to the coarse. I couldn't help myself. With 800 miles on the fresh rebuild I had to let it out. My 40 min. drive turned out to be only 20 min. go figure(god I love this car). What a great drive! The car performed perfectly. The only thing better than that is my son kicked my A**s and won the Club Championship. Not a bad Day at all!!!

Years and years ago, out of college I had a friend staying with us in a small house. A couple houses back was a punk kid with a $500 car and a $1000 car alarm. My friend rode a sport bike. Every morning when he left he could not help revving his engine as he drove by the punks car. It would set the car alarm off every time.

Back at the house we would hear him and laugh every time.
Way to go 1755!

I used to leave at 5:30am every Monday for an early meeting and one of my neighbor's across the street and a couple doors down would regularly complain and ask me "why did I have to leave sooo early on Monday mornings?!" But when she was done, her husband would lean over and tell me "I love it! Best alarm clock in the world!"
