There is an excelent article in this months Car & Driver. It is on the race war between Ferrari and Ford in 1967. Reading the article I realized why I have never run across my dream car in any cars for sale literature. It was because they only raced four Mk IV s ever. The red number one is in a museum at Ford, the rich Ferrari guy owns number two car, so 3 & 4 arethe only ones available and Holmon Moody owns at least one of those. No wonder there is only one guy who maks Mk IV replicas. Only a hand full of people know what a J-car is, let alone lust after one like I do. Why do I have to have such wierd tastes??? It causes me much frustration and consternation.

And, if you're still not satisfied... Here is Jim's Ferrari P3/4. (Jim Glickenhaus is the guy who commissioned Pininfarina to take a Ferrari Enzo and create a modern interpretation of this car. I hope he decides to fund our new Pantera project... Hmmm...)

I thought at first it was Carrol Shelby, but at a closer look it appears to be a security guard. Notice the thin sash over his upper right shoulder (or it could be a small purse strap) and what looks like a badge over his left breast.
