On my valve covers, there is a filter top of two valve cover openings (one on the drivers side of the engine and one on the passenger side). When changing oil, would it be better to put oil into each opening, to ensure adequate lubrication during the oil change, or doesn't that matter since it all goes to the pan and then circulates anyway.
