Does anyone know the width of the frame rails where the oil pan drops into? In other words, How wide can the oil pan sump be before it hits the frame rails?

Mine are 12" clear.
I can tell you that my brand new removable cross member from Quella that goes between the frame rails for oil pan removal is 12 5/16 inches from end to end.

The Aviaid or Armando oil pans are vertical walled from the inside edge of the block. My Aviaid mesures 9.5" width. This is about as wide as you can go and still access the bolts to drop the pan if necessary (albeit difficult on a couple around the slight oil pump bulge).
