My 3 year nut and bolt restoration on the MG is winding down. I am still awaiting the seat frames from the powder coaters but I threw the Pantera seat in it yesterday and took it for a drive. I could barely reach the pedals. With the V6 it spins the tires any time I hit the accelerator. Fun car!:

Well, I was going to swap engines in 1905 THEN do 1280 BUT........I pulled the engine on 1905 tonight. I am getting the "May As wells". I may as well do this, I may as well do that. I posted a photo in the engine compartment thread. I may be doing alot more then an engine swap on 1905!

JW I think it's Morris Garage but not sure. There is very little MG in this car anymore.

Detom, by the hour $, is that the first time I do something or does that include the 2nd and 3rd time when I finally get it right?

I don't think you can put a monetary value on what I put in that stink'n car. If I did I know it wouldn't be worth that much to any one except me.

Absolutly georgeous! I have had 3-4 MGB's The last one, I had installed an Olds aluminum 215 v8. The car was a blast to drive with the Borg Warner 5 speed..........It had the Pantera shift pattern. Gary, you have done a beutiful job on the restoration. Congradulations.

The MG looks Great. First car I ever had was an MG, I bought for $30, when I was 14. My mom let me buy it because she never thought that I would never get it running, and that it would keep me out of trouble. She was wrong on both accounts.

Gary, The documentation is absolutly astouding! I can hardly wait to see my brother button 1280 get the treatment! Many thanks, I know there are MGB fans druling. I hope you share it with many. You got a lot got going on. I hope you doc the FE conversion as well.

That is correct.My uncle bought a brand new one in 1954.My aunt just sold in to a friend of mine.He also is in the precess of restoring it.Mechanically in good condition,just need new paint.Great little cars.Yours looks great.Good luck with it.
