You can pull the sidecovers off as a part of your safety wiring of the ring gear.
Lloyd Butfoy (RBT), SAAC, and others have the seals and gaskets, Lloyd certainly has ARP Ring Gear bolts and advice.
Look at my thread on #5357, and there are pictures of the sidecovers removed.

I merely slipped blue masking tape behind the side covers and covered the rest of the gearbox with an old sheet and spray painted the side covers. Worked great!
